Guest guest
Please Join Us for an Evening Lecture About Holotropic Breathwork Where: The Caritas Spiritist Center When: Friday, July 18, 2008 Time: 7- 8:30 P.M. Cost: Free! What is Holotropic Breathwork? Holotropic Breathwork is premised on the pioneering efforts and visions of Dr. Stanislav Grof and Christina Grof. It is based on modern consciousness research, depth psychology, and various spiritual practices. A highly experiential method, Holotropic Breathwork accesses non-ordinary states of consciousness through a combination of deep relaxation, enhanced breathing, evocative music, and focused bodywork. This allows access to a variety of possible experiences ranging from issues from our current life, childhood or birth, as well as beyond the personal realm. Each experience is guided by the intrinsic wisdom within each person. Artwork and group processing are used to enhance understanding and promote integration of experiences. " Holotropic " literally means moving toward wholeness Holotropic Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy.
