Bird Lovers, be aware of the dangers of Teflon coated cooking

utensils!

If you keep birds as pets, you may be endangering their health and

well being, by exposing them to certain deadly chemicals, produced

by heated Teflon.

When Teflon coated cooking utensils and other non-stick fluoro-

derived cookware, are heated, they release dangerous chemicals,

which birds are especially sensitive to.

The effect of these compounds on our feathered friends is tragic,

inadvertently poisoning them. Results of one or a few exposures of

this sort, in birds, is irreversible kidney and lung damage

resulting in death.

There is also ongoing research that indicates that exposure to these

compounds pose potential health risk to humans over time, also.

These compounds are said to be classified as potentially

carcinogenic.

Do yourself and your feathered friends a favor, (avoid the canary in

the mine syndrome)please dispose of your Teflon or non-stick

cookware.
