Guest guest
I'm 20 weeks along with my second child and it moves all the time. Even when I'm walking or having sex with my husband. My daughter always was rocked to sleep by those things, and was not very active anyways. I'm lacking sleep due to this and I need my rest to take care of my 1 year old. I've heard there are some massage techniques that can be used to soothe them, but I don't know any. Can you help? Bonnie
Guest guest
I would firstly try calming mild teas, chamomile typically works very well for such cases. Also, i would use relaxation response techniques, a regular practice of meditation techniques also is useful as prep for delivery as well. Some mothers will play music directly on their bellies, mozart is thought to be one of the best. Guest guest
Hi, My wife and I would talk to our unborn baby all the time, and get her to listen to clasical music, especially at our bed time. Each one has a different taste, but ours quite definately responded very well to the violin. I can say with a measure of confidence that communicating with the baby in the womb, as though he/she were out of it, does wonders for the nerves of the baby, and would calm him/her down. But the mother needs to be calm as well! Not just that, I do believe that after the baby is born, he/she is much more content. After my experience (and listening to other new parents who did the same) I always urge pregnant mothers to communicate with their unborn child as much as possible.
