Guest guest
I've been doing a lot of research on nail fungus problems and still don't know what really works. The doctor gave me an antibiotic to clear up what she said was an infection in my toe. I'm almost at the end of the prescription and the swelling is gone but the toe looks the same as before. What concerns me is a slight lumpy area at the base of the nail that seems to need to drain but will not. Is there anything that will draw out the fluid to help the toe heal? I'm working on my diet to eliminate sugar and have tried different remedies like tea tree oil. Any advice would be appreciated. Guest guest
Get some activated charcoal and make a poultice as follows: 1 tablespoon activated charcoal 1 teaspoon corn starch water or colloidal silver (enough to make a smooth paste) Mix together and spread on a white cotton piece of material or a paper towel. wrap toe in poultice and then loosely in plastic wrap and tape. Leave on over-night and repeat until you can see it is on it's way to a good healing. I did this to my husbands leg ulcer and it healed it right up. Guest guest
I've been applying colloidal silver to mine for a week. It is working! The fungus seems to be dying.....drying out. Yeah!!!
Guest guest
I also want to add here that since you have been taking antibiotics you will need to take a probiotic to restore the friendly bacteria in the intestines as antibiotics will encourage Candida (fungus) overgrowth.
