the drs think i have some blocked arteries,im concerned about eating

heart healthy but i have limited energy.i do have another appoint. july

7th at a heart hospital.i need simple recipes to fix during the day

while i am home alone.i cant drive right now.i would appreciate any

ideas you might have for me.Susan

Susan,

 

I would start incorporating whole foods into your diet like fresh fruits,

vegetables, grains and legumes. An easy way to get fresh fruits and

vegetables everyday is by eating salads, stir frying vegetables and serving

with whole grain rice and it doesn't take much preparation, avoid unhealthy

fats while being sure to get healthy fats like Omega 3. If you like fish

this is a great source of Omega 3. Also avoid refined, processed foods.
