Guest guest
Hi. I'm new to the list and wanted to introduce myself and also respond to your question about distance healing. I'm a body-centered psychotherapist and energy healer who specializes in working with individuals with chronic illness, and I often practice distance healing with my clients. I'm a trained Chi Kung (Qigong) energy healer, and in my tradition, it is understood that the energy body (made up of the chakras, the meridians, the etheric body, the emotional body, the mental body, the causal body, etc.), is non-local. What this means is that even though our energy bodies are interpenetrated with our physical bodies (meaning we can feel them and experience them through our physical bodies), they also exist multi-dimensionally. Therefore, it is possible, through intention, focus, skill, and calling on our non-physical support (our own higher selves, or " I Am " presence, our guides, ancestors, etc.), to do energy work from a distance. (Lynn McTaggart writes about this in her book " The Field. " ) This is a little different than " mind power " alone, though absolutely involves the mind. I have had a lot of success working with clients as far away as Lebanon! And I myself have received many distance sessions. If an individual is really tuned in to their own body and their own energy field, they can absolutely feel the impact, even from a distance. Some clients have reported immediate pain relief. Great question! I really believe it is important to question and examine how these things work. I'm happy to share more with you, if you are interested.
