More than 90 people, mostly children, have been hospitalized in eastern Ukraine

after measles vaccinations.

 

On May 13, a 17-year-old boy died after a measles inoculation. Two days later,

over 60 people in were hospitalized.

 

Ukraine's President, Viktor Yushchenko, demanded that the Ukrainian health

ministry take all measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. Measles

immunization has for the moment been halted in Ukraine.
