Guest guest
There's much more to the 'soy debate' than what's been mentioned. For women especially, soy can compromise thyroid function, especially in perimenopause and menopause. In peri, it will aggravate your estrogen dominant symptoms and lead to the proliferation of uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and heavy, prolonged bleeding. For men, it can increase the risk of prostate cancer. And, there's more for those ready to get beneath the savvy and slick marketing of soy in America. Use only fermented, NON-GMO soy and in moderation! Michelle http://www.HolisticPerimenopause.com I imagine that if soy is so bad and detrimental to human health, people in Japan and other Asian countries would be really sick. However, this is not so. > I strongly believe in moderation and variation. > > Rena > > - > Wani > > Monday, May 12, 2008 12:52 PM > Re: Soy Debate > > > I wouldn't believe one article, that is part of the reduction of the > population.. to give the audience what they want to hear.. the research > shows that SOY is terrible for the human body unless it is fermented.. > > I would research it in more detail before jumping on the SOY bandwagon, so > causes estrogen and hormonal issues, not including it strips the calcium > from your bones.. > > Take care. > >
