Yvonne..

I have found jewelweed the best remedy for poison ivy. I buy it in spray,

soap and salve. It works the best I have seen in any kind of skin rash.

DM

I have two requests. Does anyone know of relief for nerve damage from

shingles? My friend has pain like sciatica. Accupunture works only if

the needles are in. Once they are remove, it is back. She is on a lot

of painkillers but she doesn't like them.

My nephew also has a pretty bad poison ivy outbreak. Does anyone know

of a good remedy for it?

Thanks,

Yvonne

On those rare occasions I get a little poison ivy rash, I dampen it

with water, sprinkle on salt, and scrub away with my hands. It

satisfies that itch! I keep scrubbing until it starts to slightly

burn, then leave plenty of salt on it (maybe add some more), let it

dry. That has always dried the rash right up, and takes care of the

itch, too.
