Guest guest
Hi Elizabeth, Excellent on your decision! I definitely would do the Total Body Cleanse as a first action. I'm sure others will have additional suggestions :-) Lisa - epdeans1 herbal remedies Thursday, November 04, 2004 8:33 PM Herbal Remedies - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Hello. I think that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am literally tired all the time. I try to eat well and get adequate sleep but it is like I can never catch up. I have decided once and for all I want to get a hold on this even if that means making very radical motifications and changes in everything about me. I do not want to go to a doctor who will start me on medications. I want to start to build my body up naturally. I will give any of my changes a year and then seek traditional doctors. Can anyone please help me come up with a plan or resources that I may try to help myself? I am tired of being tired. Thanks and I can not wait to hear from you guys. Guest guest
You probably have candidias. A yeast cleanse would do you good. The reason MD's don't tell you about this is that candidias can be caused by overusing antibiotics. I should tell you that when you are in the cleanse you will get VERY fatigued. As the yeast dies it tries to survive by causing sugar cravings (that's what it lives off of and you will want to avoid it during and right after the cleanse) and massive fatigue. You might also be anemic. Something worthwhile iron wise can fix that. -Shelby P.S. I know I can't spell candidias. epdeans1 [epdeans1] Thursday, November 04, 2004 12:33 PM herbal remedies Herbal Remedies - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Hello. Guest guest
Well, I have something called " Yeast Fighters " . You take these capsuls for 6 weeks. I found them at my local health food store. -Shelby P.S. You can't have much sugar while on these as it will feed the yeast. Thanks for all. Eimo>>> Hello Eimo, That in itself may be part of your problem. If you are eating a low fat diet you are not supplying your body with the essential fuel it needs for energy. This will contribute to fatigue. You may also be low on vitamin b-12 if you are skimping on animal sources of protein, which also contributes to fatigue. Guest guest
I am sorry about your illness. I would reconsider your position on fat. Experts say that there are healthy and unhealthy fats, not all fat is bad. You may find this information interesting: http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/what-should-you-eat/fats- and-cholesterol/index.html With respect to fatigue, it has been shown in several studies that moderate cooling, such as a gradual cold shower or a cold bath can reduce fatigue. One researcher also recently proposed to treat CFS using twice daily adapted cold showers: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17958903 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15253480 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/13985984 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/5246975 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18058595 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11879418 , " eimo53 " <eimo53 wrote: > > I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no > beef no fat. > Could you please help me to overcome my fatigue. > Thanks for all. > Eimo >

Guest guest
-In order for the cells to repair themselves, you do need some fat. do not eat anything that says " no fat " " low fat " or reduced fat. Eat only real food. Do not eat margerine, use butter. Take ashwaganda capsules and Fo-Ti capsules ( He shou wu is the Chinese name for it). Ashwaganda is the Ayurvedic herb and Fo-ti is the Chinese herb. Ashwaganda means frisky horse and Fo-Ti is rejuvenating, anti aging.-- Love, Cecile ___________________ In , " Donna Anne Masi " <FantasyDollsByD wrote: > > <<<I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no > beef no fat. > Could you please help me to overcome my fatigue. > Thanks for all. > Eimo>>> > > Hello Eimo, > That in itself may be part of your problem. Guest guest
Chronic fatigue could come from any number of problems from emotional, dietary, disease, lack of exercise, etc. Lets assume that: 1. You don't suffer from any nutritional deficiencies 2. You are active or at least don't lead an entirely sedentary life style and 3. You are not depressed or ill in any way These are HUGE assumptions. But if the above is true, there is a good chance you simply have a blockage of energy flow through your body. Before going to a doctor and having them run all kinds of tests and put you on all types of medications, please do the following. 1. Go see an accupuncturist. They can often clear up blockages in just a few visits. 2. Take up a hobby that will cultivate your internal energies and clear energy blockages such as Chi Kung or Tai Chi. If you choose to follow my advice, I would love for you to report back your results. Good luck! , " eimo53 " <eimo53 wrote: > > I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no > beef no fat. > Could you please help me to overcome my fatigue. > Thanks for all. > Eimo >
Guest guest
you have fatigue because your body has to break down your muscle mass because you aren't giving it any fat. stick with mono unsaturated fats like nuts, olives, dark chocolate, and avacados. much love in Christ, sara 22/f/WI Donna Anne Masi <FantasyDollsByD wrote: <<<I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no beef no fat. Guest guest
Fatigue is just another symptom and may derive from different physical, emotional or environmental causes. Another possibility is that your liver is not working well. You even may find the culprit in your environment as certain situations, relationships and so on can produce depression, fatigue, etc. Physically speaking, I suggest that you have some lab tests done. Guest guest
i do not agree that you should not eat foods that are low or fat free... you should eat these products when such version is available (cheese, milk, yogurt, butter, sour cream, pudding, etc), to cut down on your intake of trans and saturated fats but you need to eat things w/ mono unsaturated fats like olives, avacados, dark chocolate, and nuts. that way you are saving the fat content in your diet... which you NEED... for the good fats. much love in Christ, sara 22/f/WI cecile <RSchl44964 wrote: -In order for the cells to repair themselves, you do need some fat. do not eat anything that says " no fat " " low fat " or reduced fat. Guest guest
---here are a few ideas now without knowing if your condition is physical it is hard to say. so i would recomend you try spiritual /reiki healing and something which has helped me immensly is earth energy In AlEarth energy Without doubt this energy is one of the most profound and beneficial. Generally speaking we are surrounded by whole structures of inanimate matter, matter which is lifeless .A few examples would be concrete brick, dead wood, p laster, carpets, metal radiators, plastic and that is just the average living room. When we work in offices it can be just the same in fact a lot of the time we can be suurounded for a lenghy period with nothing living at all.But some people farmers forestry people fishermen are surrounded with living things such as gardens, nice scenery, mountains, rivers lakesor seas. We generally gain something from these things. This is why so many people retreat to the mountains, lakes, and seaside to gain sustenance from just being there. Each area has its own innate energy and you will have noticed some people attracted with real desire to live near the sea, or the south, north or other areas. Nearly everyone wishes to have a Mediterranean climate with loads more sunshine and thousands migrate there each winter. The earth is a living breathing being of immense power and is quite literally alive and very conscious, many people are engaged in keeping her in a better state of balance and repairing her of which in general we know little about. Just think for a moment of the vast number of plants, trees, etc that spring out from the planet. Literally billions of different life forms each possessing life force.can you think of anything which gives such life force . Around her circumference it is approximately 24000miles, she is spinning at over 1000mph and travelling around our sun at over 66000mph, that is every hour we have moved 66000miles not to mention our sun and solar system moving in relation to other stars at a fantastic rate. She also possesses an aura, which is being fed from the sun, moon planets and stars. Being close to earth can be very interesting and by close what I mean here is having your back against her and feeling the energy of the earth from the closeness. Don't feel that the energy is going to hit you hard, it is far subtler than that. As an experiment try laying on the floor of your average house and then comparing the feeling you get from laying on the earth on your average lawn. There is a vast difference.A diference in how it feels energy wise . Throughout the many trials and tribulations of life this energy has been one of the keystones which has helped many people .It provides a lovely sustenance which helps us keep in balance. It can feed us spiritually too giving us energy , and also when practised a sence of unity not unlike the feeling when a couple are hugging each other closely for a good length of time.Yes that feeling can come from mother earth .Now being people of course male and female it is quite natural for the male to seek the female and vice versa because we are half not complete and there is need for many people to feel unity .IN my experience mother earth can bring very much a sence of unity or a very special feeling inside of you .In fact you may feel better for being with her than being in the company of many people . I cannot think of any medical problem where this energy and sence of unity would not help and would and recommend that everyone try it and experience it . Those with M.E. or any energy problem in particular would be well advised to try this. Obviously only give yourself just enough ,if you feel you are slightly irritated after a while I would say this could be your limit at that time. Like any energy it has to be treated with respect. This is very much filling our more spiritual natures and I would love to see more research done with this energy on the many complaints, which we have to deal with. Very often when camping out much better sleep and a greater sense of refreshment is experienced even when sleeping on air beds as we are much closer to the earth .If one was psychic one could possibly see this energy which would be an entirely new field to explore. Many people will have hugged trees or will have sat with their backs to trees to experience a different kind of energy. Again caution is advised here as you are touching a large energy source.Hugging trees can be fascinating subject and i have found that each tree is different . it has a different kind of energy , an oak is different to an ash or a beech .i have never hugged one of the big trees in america, we might have to be a bit cautious with that as these trees are truly sacred and the shear physical size of them and consequent power with them could be overwhelming to some people . Start with exposures, which are not too long. Pick a decent size tree to start with a large girth, the older the better. Give reverence to it as a living thing. It will have seen many sunrises in its time and many sunsets and felt the wind blow through its leaves and also the mornings of Jack Frost. People say if that tree could talk and do you know something -some trees actually do. Stay with me here for a moment , firstly have a seat under your favourite tree and I hope we all have a favourite and put your ear to its trunk and then switch off your self and just listen to the tree and do this for at least 10 mins. What did you feel from this experience? I am certainly not going to pre-empt your own experience's just to tell you that if you did that often enough you will experience something intriguing. Just to let you know I have my own tent on the back garden all year round and regularly go in it to feel refreshed .not every night but it is much more beneficial than my bedroom stuck in a house surrounded by dead matter .You see underneath the stars ,with birds singing In the morning .fresher air , living closer to nature you will naturally feel better etc as an addon to this a simple meditation will help you attune yourself to mothiper earth and start to develop your relationship with her. did i say relationship, yes thats right for when you are attuned to her you will have formed a link a relationship between you and mother earth .Find a nice spot where you will not be disturbed andif its dry lay on the grass but if not a simple sheet will do, get comfortable relax now what id o i picture the centre of the earth and say in my mind join with the spirit of the earth and send down a beam from you through the thousands miles of rock untill you reach the centre of her hold yourself there and feel , athis point i often feel connected often my body relaxes even more and i start to feel joined in unity and a feeling of energy fills me .a good idea is to send love to her and thankfullness for she gives so much , this will strengen the bond even more .be receptive to what you feel in return .Hold these loving connection for s long as you want for some this will be a few minutes for others perhaps half an hour will have passed ..when you are ready you can return by coming up that chord or beam and returning and grounding yourself within your body. now you may or may not have experienced something in your consious. this depends on how consiously aware you are . but subconsiously you will have certainly felt something .What you expereinced from this may very well depend to a large degree on how well you are connected to your subconsious. There is obviously much much more to this vast subject, it is hoped here to give you a flavour and encouragement to try something which has been immensely beneficial to me,it would even have such importance to me as to say life saving for i doubt i would be here in this physical form were it not for this connection. Everyone with depression should do this, it is my protocol for dealing with depression for very good reason .This is a vast subject we have not touched upon energy lines stone circles crystals and their place and uses in working with mother earth .This is just looking at one or two aspects of this spiritual subject. phill ternativeAnswers , " eimo53 " <eimo53 wrote: > > I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no > beef no fat. > Could you please help me to overcome my fatigue. > Thanks for all. > Eimo >
Guest guest
Wonderful reading; thanks for writing; I too agree fatigue can be a helped by your state of mind; i beleive in imagery for example say you feel like lying down but you have to go somewhere instead of lying down; mediate on walking out the door and leaving imagine in your mind a picture of yourself walking out the door; then follow the image in your mind and walk out the door to work it's all a matter of mind control; mind over body;spirit over matter.- -- In , " pjb12345uk " <pho wrote: > > ---here are a few ideas now without knowing if your condition is > physical it is hard to say. > so i would recomend you try spiritual /reiki healing > and something which has helped me immensly is earth energy > In AlEarth energy > Without doubt this energy is one of the most profound and beneficial. > Generally speaking we are surrounded by whole structures of > inanimate matter, matter which is lifeless .A few examples would be > concrete brick, dead wood, p laster, carpets, metal radiators, > plastic and that is just the average living room. Guest guest
Hi Eimo53, i did a little research on magneto therapy, there are no studies published in peer-reviewed journals (this includes those specializing in alternative medicine) that would demonstrate any benefits of magnetic fields in CFS or any other type of fatigue. On the contrary, application of strong magnetic fields to muscle can induce fatigue without any physical effort. In other words, there is no reliable trustworthy information on this type of therapy in CFS. This does not necessarily mean that this approach doesn't work, it is just the amount of reliable evidence is close to zero. On the positive side, magnetic fields of weak to moderate power are fairly safe and do not pose serious risks to health. With this in mind, I would try magneto therapy for free, but avoid it if it costs money. As somebody else already mentioned vitamin B12 deficiency can cause fatigue, and I know one CFS patient who says that B12 supplement reduces his symptoms significantly (although this is not a cure). This vitamin is virtually absent in plant foods and animal liver is the best natural source of vitamin B12. You may find a lot of other CFS patients and share your experiences on this non-commercial peer-support website: dailystrength dot org Best wishes, Craig , " eimo53 " <eimo53 wrote: > > Hi craiggers_985: > Thanks alot these are valuable infos.do You think that Magneto > therapy may improve Chronic Fatigue . Guest guest
Hi friends Thank you all for your kind replies. I have tried all.I had hepatitis c from 10 years.my liver is ok , " Blua Birdo " <bluabirdo wrote: > > Fatigue is just another symptom and may derive from different physical, emotional or environmental causes. > Another possibility is that your liver is not working well. > You even may find the culprit in your environment as certain situations, relationships and so on can produce depression, fatigue, etc. > Physically speaking, I suggest that you have some lab tests done. > > Rena > > - > Donna Anne Masi > > Saturday, May 10, 2008 9:31 PM > Re:Chronic fatigue syndrome > > > <<<I am 55 years old .I have fatigue .I eat well all natural foods ,no > beef no fat. > Could you please help me to overcome my fatigue. > Thanks for all. > Eimo>>> > > Hello Eimo, > That in itself may be part of your problem. If you are eating a low fat diet you are not supplying your body with the essential fuel it needs for energy. This will contribute to fatigue. You may also be low on vitamin b-12 if you are skimping on animal sources of protein, which also contributes to fatigue. > > Dee > >
Guest guest
I don't know where you were looking but search for Dr. Michael Weintraub who did a double-blind peer-reviewed study using over 300 patients in 24 centers with diabetic neuropathy. There was a 90% improvement rate. You might even be able to find an audio or video of him online if they haven't been removed. Magnets are VERY effective for chronic fatigue in all cases I've ever seen. In Asia they have been used for thousands of years and are standard medical practice in Japan and are used in hospitals. I've heard many people with fibromyalgia say they felt great after an MRI for a day or so after. I've used magnets myself as I was extremely fatigued and magnetic insoles were actually the first thing that worked. Like Eimo, my liver was damaged and couldn't process toxins so using the insoles prompted a skin break out but the energy made a huge difference in my life. I stopped yawning all the time. I ended up getting a magnetic sleep system which further improved my health. It's not a cure but it sure made my life more tolerable. I got way, way better and my liver is completely normal now after having elevated liver counts for years after using Natural Cellular Defense. I've written about it numerous times here already. It removes toxins from the liver better than anything I've ever tried, which is a lot of things, especially since I used to work for a holistic doctor. Knowing that, I would have to say, the magnets are more of a band-aid solution and for someone with a known liver problem, it would be more effective to cleanse the liver which is really the cause of things like fatigue and depression but magnets can sure make a difference in people's lives. Magnets release toxins but if the liver is congested they can recirculate. Lots of water needs to be drank to flush them out and most people feel worse at the beginning, either for a few days or a week or so before noticing improvements. Eimo, I'm pretty sure I emailed you the other day about this. Did you get my email? Maybe it got stuck in your bulk folder.
