Yellow color on finger

I had a small swelling checked on my finger. Being a nurse,thought it was a

cyst, but not sure. Dr. said, it is a tiny cyst on the tendon and don't

worry about it. However, he really never answered me on this one, just said

don't

worry about it.

On same finger, down below the cyst, the finger is rough and yellow in color

.. It looks like a cigarette stain people have that smoke, and I do not

smoke. It is on my left pinkie finger. Also where the skin is yellowish, it

is

also rough, almost callous like.

 

Having come off HBP meds, I have a blood test taken once a year, and I got

that back three weeks ago, and it is fine. Nothing out of line there.

 

Any suggestions on this. This has me baffled.
