Natural Treatment for Strep Throat?

Is there some sort of natural treatment I can take for strep throat?

It could also be a viral infection, we aren't sure. My rapid strep

test came back negative and I'm still waiting on the cultured one.

However, I think they took it too early. I went in when my fever

spiked 104, but my throat wasn't bad yet.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts.

Thanks,

Paula

I use a product called Throat Rescue by Peaceful Mountain. (I have no

affiliation with them, other then a consumer)

From the website www.peacefulmountain.com Throat Rescue

Strep or sore throats can hit at any time, usually not the most

convenient time. They are painful and can develop into something that

is much more significant. Laboratory tests have shown Throat Rescue

to be superior to competitive throat sprays at killing harmful throat

bacteria. Throat Rescue kills significantly more Streptococcus A.

Hemolytic (Strep A.) bacteria in 30 minutes than Erythromycin and

other throat spray products.

Ionic silver may be an effective tool for supporting your immune

system in the presence of emerging strains of bacterial, viral, and

fungal infections.

Ingredients: Purified water, ionic silver > 30 ppm and peppermint oil.

In a pinch, I've also just bought the silver and made my own spray.

I hope this helps,

Sonya

The gargling with hydrogen peroxide will help; so will gargling with

grapefruit seed oil mixed into a glass of water - I have used successfully 13

drops

of grapefruit seed oil in 6 - 8 oz of water, gargled 3 times a day or more. I

have found grapefruit seed oil extract good for gargling for a sore throut

as well. Plus have also found gargling with it when I have a toothache, seems

to temporarily get rid of the toothache - though I have had to do this a

couple of times everyday until I get the tooth fixed.

I friend of mine recently was diagnosed with throut cancer and is

getting radiation treatment. Even his allopathic doctor told him to gargle with

baking soda for the pain -- I had told him previously but he doesn't believe

in alternative medicines .................... Baking soda is also a cure for

cancer [Dr Simoncini ] and for throat cancer is injected orally mixed with

water. It is also used for the pain that is caused by cancer. I have used

baking

soda in water for a very painful inflammation of my whole arm and it was the

only thing that made the pain completely go away. I was told to put half a

teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water, and drink it - but not more then

6 times in 24 hours; plus do not take closer together then every 4 hours.

(I only took it 6 times a day for 2 days - then took it only 4 times every 24

hours for a couple of days. I stopped as soon as my arm was not painful

anymore.] I was amazed by how effective for pain this was - have to admit, I

was

sceptical. Baking soda alkalizes your body, which is of course part of the

reason that it so successfully kills cancer as well as candida - it is also the

reason why you must take it according to the instructions above and not take

too much of it. Getting your body too alkaline can be dangerous, at least

without somebody whom knows what they are doing supervising. In my opinion;

anything that is powerful enough to be effective, also has the potential to be

dangerous too if abused. Because remedies are 'alternative' and not drugs does

not mean that they are harmless.

Good luck.

Eat lots of garlic. Make a drink of milk, jalepenos and honey. Mix

in blender.

Paula,

Try using vitamin C, olive leaf, L-lysine, oregano and garlic. Large amounts

of all.

L-Lysine is an amino acid that stops bacteria and viruses from spreading in

the body.

Olive leaf has proved lethal to every virus tested against it.

Garlic and oregano are potent, natural antibiotics.

Also, zinc and vitamins D and C are important nutrients for proper immune

function.

Sorry, but you really need to go and get an antibiotic...you are dealing with a

dangerous bomb here and you want to go the allopathic route for strep once you

have a positive test for it.

To avoid strep and non strep throats in the future you can start taking a

Homeopathic Nosode like I give my family called Staph-Strep Combo. You can buy

it online here:

https://celletech.com/commerce/product.jsp?prodId=3693 & catId= & companyId=97<https\

://celletech.com/commerce/product.jsp?prodId=3693 & catId= & companyId=97> I bought

a two ounce bottle three years ago of 30c and it has kept my family sore throat

free and I still have enough for another five years. The way I use it is:

Oct 1: Two pellets every day for seven days

Every Friday: Two pellets through April

***Keep all homeopathic/Nosode remedies in a cool, dark place away from strong

light and odors from any chemicals.

1000 mgms of vit C every hour for three hours and then every three

hours after that. I cured my husbands tonsilitis this way,.

Also.. when you get the first tickle of a sore throat ,gargle

with salt water every half hour. It works.

Wait until your last tests come back negative before assuming it's NOT strep.

Strep HAS to be treated with antibiotics...you do not play lightly with this

very dangerous infection that can damage your heart, kidneys, etc. deb/c.n.

In these cases my preferred remedy is garlic. As soon as I feel something

strange in my throat I chew on a garlic clove as it would be a piece of candy. I

change it if necessary. It never fails.
