can anyone help with how to get rid of the craving for something sweet

after you eat. I'll be satisfied with my meal yet have a very stong

craving for something sweet to follow, so eating that salad just goes

out the window if its followed by the sweet tooth...help

I would suggest an ounce of dark chocolate after the meal with a nice cup of

tea. My cardiologist highly recommends dark chocolate and red wine or grape

juice. They both have very beneficial effects. Using non caloric sweeteners

even when natural like Stevia will not fool the body. The body will still know

it is not getting the sugar. Some studies have shown that those who actually

eat things like dark chocolate in moderation actually weigh much less. I make

up my own chocolate clusters with almond or walnut pieces and Goji berries. A

very healthy indulgence in moderation.

This is supposed to be a sign of a weak pancreas, so anything you do

to help that precious organ is good. Some herbal tea sweetened with

Stevia might do the trick. Stevia satisfies sweet cravings quite

nicely, and actually supports the pancreas.

I just remembered this item from my testimonial file that

seems to fit your situation exactly:

My husband has had problems with blood sugar management.

Usually about 30 minutes after a meal he is in the kitchen

looking for something sweet to top off his meal.

Not any more! I am sure he would agree that his sweet tooth

has calmed down by drinking the tea and xxxxx (brand name tactfully

deleted) He now takes the tea to work and I always have a pot ready

for him to drink when he gets home. In addition, the tea is what he

drinks

with dinner.

Why don't you have a delicious herbal tea with a little raw honey? My favorite

is a masala chai that I make with oolong tea, cinnamon, ginger, fennel, anise,

cloves, cardamom, and a little orange peel. YUM!! This is best enjoyed with a

little raw milk and a touch of honey. And, while sastifying your sweet tooth,

you are also improving digestion with theis tasty, nutritious tea.

Hello!

If you really want to get rid of your craving for sweet after meal, first this

you do is that don't keep anything sweet at home even sweet fruits. Absence of

sweet substance will gradually diminish the cravings.
