Oil Pulling?

Does anyone know about this? I tried it with sesame oil...swished and

swished for a long time. It never turned white and frothy. Is this a

true remedy?

My husband and I tried it for a couple of months with cold pressed

extra virgin coconut oil. Immediately afterwards, it would bring up

some mucus from the throat. Honestly, otherwise, we saw no real

benefit and stopped the practice. I guess it is good for thoroughly

cleaning the teeth between the gums, but maybe this could be done with

just water.

I have been oil pulling for a few months now. I did it to help my bone loss.

My dentist asked me what I was doing, as my gums were getting pinker. I told

him about the oil pulling (he is a holistic dentist) and he said it is working

for me. He says my bone loss is due to heavy pesticides in my system, and that

the oil is pulling it out of my body. I have noticed also, that some of my age

spots have disappeared. I think all of this related. I have also seen that it

is not turning white and frothy. But I keep doing it. I think it is a slow

long process over several months. This gives the body time to get rid of these

toxins.
