Guest guest
Just be careful not to get too much of the protein from meat as meat has an acid effect on the body which is not good in general. , heather <upulagi wrote: > > I read an article about research done re food cravings and they found that having a high protein diet cut food cravings dramatically.. its got something to do with insulin production and low blood sugar..Ive done this... when I was pregnant with the twins, I followed Adelle Davis diet for pregnant women and I had about 20 grams of protein a day and I was able to stick to the diet and I didnt crave sweets at all..there is 20 grams of protein in half a cip of soy beans,, tofu is just as good,Google it and see if you can find an article re high protein cuts food cravings,. > > > You rock. Guest guest
There are really much healthier approaches. Despite slick marketing hype on soy, there are some very significant drawbacks, especially for women under 50 or so and men of all ages. It can certainly cause more harm than good! As for meat, be sure it's hormone free. Consider AFA as your protein source. It will achieve your desired results and much, much more. BTW, it's totally safe when pregnant and does wonders for morning sickness.
