Where the hell are all the good microbiologists, anyway? Good thing we gave power to quarantine public to Bush and Homeland Security, don't you think? Guest guest
Hi All, A thought crossed my mind .Why are we not getting paranoid about cat flu, thats been around for years and it crosses species as the vet said it killed my rabbit(the cat used to sit in the rabbits hutch ,they were good friends)So if I see a dead cat on the road I'll ring the media and tell them it could be the deadly cat flu. Best wishes Chris _________ Photos – NEW, now offering a quality print service from just 8p a photo http://uk.photos.
Guest guest
Chris, Sorry to hear about your rabbit, I remember my friends doberman got cat flu, we pulled her through... just.. that must have been quite a few years ago, maybe 20 to 25 years ? Now its the poor old birds turn, If anyone turns up in my yard and tells me to distroy or poison or whatever, the wild birds who come to eat and have babies in my garden, i might just tell them to go you know where, with two pitbulls on there tails. Funny enough, the dogs protect the birds, their babies and tortoises. We had baby torts yesterday! the size of a teaspoon! Last season, when the birds were nesting in the geranium pot, as soon as a Mongoose or cat came anywhere near the garden wall, the (daddy, I presume) shrieked his head off, and Lady and I would dutifully rush outside and chase the (usually mongoose) off. We also have a Robin who flies into the house every day ( we have like an indoor garden,) he is in total charge of the dogs food. Outside birdies consist of about 50 or more of Cape yellow weavers, and very tame Mouse birds (I didnt realize how interesting Mouse birds where, until, driving along, very slowly, I hit one by accident, took him home, and after about a week of him eventually eating mushed fruit, he flew off. The other day, id say about a month later, I was feeding the torts some lettuce and looked up and right next to me in a bush was .. yes a little mouse bird, every day now he pitches up, anyway.. Im sure that he is our little mouse bird jill In other words, i dont believe there is anything called bird flu - Chris Garen Friday, April 07, 2006 12:48 PM Re: Worldwide THREAT, Infection,VICTIM,Pandemic,DEADLY, Outbreak, WHO, Disease QUARANTINE Hi All, A thought crossed my mind .Why are we not getting paranoid about cat flu, thats been around for years and it crosses species as the vet said it killed my rabbit(the cat used to sit in the rabbits hutch ,they were good friends)So if I see a dead cat on the road I'll ring the media and tell them it could be the deadly cat flu.
