Guest guest
Hi Jim What you need to do is find the cause of the depression and then treat appropriately with amino acids ,vitamins herbs etc.Possible detox program change of diet elimination of other toxic exposure. Great Smokies Diagnostic Labs has a whole series of tests for this. http://www.gsdl.com/home/assessments/finddisease/depression/ Neuroscience is another lab that has specific tests http://www.neurorelief.info/index.php?major=507.503.505.504.506 Depression has many metabolic components with toxins being one of the most prevalent.Dr Sherry Rogers wrote a book on this called Depression. It is a huge volume of info on differnt toxins etc. Low thyroid is a common cause of depression. Many things affect the thyroid ,mercury in particular is very hard on the thyroid. Do you have amalgam fillings? You need to find a good alternative or natrupathic dr who is willing to work with you on getting some of these tests. Hope this helps. Chantal I am Jim. I am new to the group and look forward to digging through all of the information here when I get the chance. I am 40 years old. I was 'officially' diagnosed with clinical depression with recurring major depression about 15 years ago. However, I know it existed long before that.
