Guest guest
Hi Guys, If anyone has anything to say about this I would be very grateful. My partner had indigestion for a whole year, was put on omeprazol etc, to no avail, finally had a tube down the throat where they found cancer. This was just before xmas 2005. He has had an Ivor lewis operation where they remove some of the oesophagus and some of the stomach and then connect what is left together, basically making a tube out of the stomach. I have to say he is recovering well with good home cooked fresh organic foods and smoothies etc, but he gets this acid burning still and insists on taking the omeprazol, even though we both read on a medicine web site that it can cause cancer. I have bought him some slippery elm, which i think he takes to keep me quiet, and never admitted to taking the other stuff until i found the empty packet. Also, another side effect of omeprazol is impotence, and even if he stays off these for a while, his performance still doesnt come back. He is 48 years old, was overweight but now is losing weight thanks to the operation. I have not had the time to trawl the internet for the info about omeprazol and i have no inside information about it. i am a strong believer in natural medicine and didnt want him to have the operation in the first place, knowing that B17 bwould have cured him. he has strong views for the Gods of the NHS and I have strong views against.... (generalising here....!!!!) I feel he has become a cog in the financial wheel of the health service who make so much money out of sick people and i want him so badly to take responsibility for own health and look for alternative ways. (Sorry about outburst........... needed to get that off my chest) In Love & Light Namaste Annie
Guest guest
Annie - There is a web site http://listserv.acor.org/archives/ If you cannot get it this way search for 'Acor.org'. This is 'a free online lifeline for everyone affected by cancer and related disorders'. There are many groups - there are several you can sign up for, the first is the 'EC' group and the second is 'the caretaker' group and any others that might help you. I have belonged to the EC group for several years. These people will listen (no how much you complain) and advise you about what works for them, what hospitals are the best, how medications affect them, etc. -- as they are in the same boat. Guest guest
Hi....I would say try and get him to heal the cause of the, " acid-reflux, I knew of a similar case where the person did two things. (1) They drank Herbalife Aloe Vera juice( It is supposedly the purest on the market,) ( and I do not sell Herbalife nor do I know anyone that does.) Just check your yellow pages. (2) Eat plain yogurt, drink kefir . ( Or make your own.) The aloe vera will heal, and the yogurt/kefir will put the correct Flora back in the digestive system. Just some suggestions. Hope this helps.
