I betcha the real world facts have little negative impact on " Avian's " value

as a tool for quarantine, travel restrictions, forced inoculation; you won't

see this idea developed by CDC/WHO/Tamiflu/Rumsfeld/Homeland Security/AMA,

et.al. Unfortunately, the " over/under " on there being a " next pandemic " of some

type is close to 98%, I suspect.

TWO groups of researchers, in Japan and in Holland, say they have discovered

why the avian flu virus is rarely if ever transmitted from one person to

another.

The reason, the researchers propose, is that the cells bearing the type of

receptor the avian virus is known to favour are clustered in the deepest
