Just thought I would pass on info about a really good book I’ve read

recently. The Feeling Soul – A Roadmap to Healing and Living by Mark Linden

O’Meara.

This book really explains how to deal with emotions and how to work through

them. Most books say “let go” but this is the first one I’ve found that

really tells you how. The book is written in a very kind considerate manner

- really non-judgmental and supportive and the author has been through some

tough times so he’s openly writing from experience. It really helped me to

get unstuck and helped me gain a new way of looking at things. The Feeling

Soul gives practical guidance and coaching on healing and moving forward.

This is one of those books that can be opened at any page but is well

organized into these sections:

Learning - discovering what emotions are, attitude development, connections,

self responsibility, support systems, emotional role models, emotional

maturity, the role of stress, and a broad spectrum of innovative healing

techniques.

Insight - understanding our past and culture and why we are hurting,

depression, masks, things that hurt such as loss, rejection, shame,

jealousy, keeping secrets, guilt, boundaries, abuse and memories.

Growth - challenging our beliefs and past emotional and mental patterns,

triggers, self talk, belief changes, personal purpose.

Healing - letting go and releasing emotions and beliefs, awareness

techniques, breathing techniques, anger, dependency, productive grieving,

forgiveness, catharsis, visualization and various other religious and

cultural healing practices.

Teaching - forgiving, empathy, gratitude, healthy living, balanced life,

positive expectation.

The author has really opened up his heart for us to take a look. I’m

impressed by how the author has used his own experience to give really good

examples of how to shift perspective and acknowledge what happened with our

being a victim, yet acknowledge the tough times we may have experienced.

This book is a gem that can change lives. It really, really helped me

figure myself out and made me feel normal for what I was going through…. and

opening it at any page brings wisdom

author’s website for a table of contents

Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. It’s a real eye opener!
