At a time when we have a (un)-Patriot Act, that contains a provision called " Sneak 'n' Peek " , giving the Government the right to enter your home, unannounced and uninvited anytime they want. They are permitted to photograph or take anything they want. They don't even have to tell you that they were there. They don't need probable cause or a court order, or a warrant. All of this in direct violation of the 4th Amendment. At a time in which we have a president, who admits to having broke the (FISA) laws, wiretapping American citizens, again in violation of the 4th Amendment. We have a president, who says he has the right to imprison American citizens indefinitely (Jose Padilla), without due process, without a warrant. These " prisoners " are denied legal council or representation, they are even denied the opportunity to tell their family of their whereabouts. When we have a Government, who wants to stick their nose into our personal lives, telling us how to live (smoking laws), and how and when to die (Terri Shiavo)... The question is not, can a Democracy be established in Iraq, the question should be...... Can a Democracy be established in the United States of America??!
