Guest guest
Scott Witt observes: The same researchers who found that glucosamine and chondroitin are not effective in relieving arthritis pain have also learned that water does not quench thirst. " The evidence is clear that people who drink water are fooling themselves into believing they are no longer thirsty, " said Dr. Allan Refling of the U.S. Institutes of Health. Admitting that people can't trust old beliefs about what's good for them (this was the fourth study in a year to find no benefit from popular nutritional substances) Refling said that at least with water, there are other uses, such as washing hands and clothing -- although there's also a study into whether those habits do any good, either.
