My 9 year old grandson has been diagnosed with rosacea. His GP says

there is no cure !! He is covered with dry patches, some with spots

in the middle, all over his chest, right down his trunk, and covering

some of his legs and arms. At the minute he has none on his face,

except a small dry patch.

Can anyone give me any information about this and how to treat it. He

is very itchy all of the time.

I dont have a lot of faith in GP's, but this is the second time my

daughter has taken him to see what is wrong. Information is not

forthcoming.

Please let me have any information, links, etc. you may have.

Thanks

Maggie

There is a Chinese herbal salve available on the web. It is available

and can be bought from Hong Kong.

Rosacea is caused by a very, very small mite, undetectable by the

human eye.

What you describe might not be Rosacea. You may want to do some skin

scrapings tests to try and positively identify the problem.

The guy that developed the herbal salve has studied the problem for

many years. The salve is recognized and approved by the government of

China.

Do a web search and you should be able to find it.

You might also try Tea Tree Oil.
