[drugawareness] Austin, TX Area Residents-Premere of

Prescription Suicide

This just came in. Please pass the word along to others you know near the

Austin area. I attended the premiere of this movie and I am in it as

well along

with a young man in my own neighborhood that I have known his whole

life. It

is a movie that is well worth your while to see yourself and

definitely in

everyone's best interest to get everyone you know to watch it.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ANYONE WHO SEES IT UNDERSTANDS CLEARLY THAT

AS BAD

AS THIS MOVIE PORTRAYS THESE DRUGS, THE WORST THING THEY CAN EVER DO IS

ABRUPTLY DISCONTINUE THESE SSRI ANTIDEPRESSANTS. Guidelines for proper

withdrawal

can be found in my tape or CD set, " Help! I Can't Get Off My

Antidepressant!

(800-280-0730)

Dr. Ann Blake Tracy, Executive Director,

International Coalition for Drug Awareness

(_http://www.drugawareness.org)_ (http://www.drugawareness.org) and

author

of Prozac:

Panacea or Pandora! Our Serotonin Nightmare and Help!

I Can't Get Off My Antidepressant! (800-280-0730)

Dear Friends,

Please start the buzz going for the screening of Prescription:

Suicide? We

are hoping to gain media attention to this event and get as many

people there

as possible. The screening will be at Unity Church of the Hills, 9905

Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas on March 10 at 7 p.m. We are

suggesting a $5 love

offering but it is not mandatory. There will be a Q & A following the

movie

with a panel of local authors and activists available to answer

questions. Two

of the families featured in the documentary, the McIntoshes and the

Brooks

families, will be attending and participate on the panel as well.

Also, one of

the producers told me that a representative from Andy Vickery's firm in

Houston will be coming. Andy Vickery has defended several SSRI litigants,

including Chris Pittman from South Carolina.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to gain attention to this issue and

inform

families in our community of the risks their children are facing. Your

support is much appreciated!

PS. Attached is a flyer for getting the word out.

Warmly,

Gwen
