Guest guest
Lawyer Apologizes For Being Shot By Cheney; White House Hopes Iraq Will Follow Suit By Lee Camp WASHINGTON D.C. – Harry Whittington, the man Dick Cheney shot in the face, apologized last week to Cheney for all the fuss he caused. The statement gave the Bush Administration new hope that Iraqi civilians will apologize to Bush and Cheney for causing such a hubbub about the bombs being dropped on them. White House press secretary Scott McClellan said, " The people of Iraq certainly should apologize for being shot and bombed. Mr. Whittington was able to see past some minor life-threatening injuries, so why can't they? The President and Vice President happen to have very poor aim, is that so wrong? Does that mean they're not good people? I don't think so. The Iraqi people, especially the ones who have lost a family member to the war, which is most of them, should apologize to the White House. Just like Mr. Whittington, those Iraqis did not warn us where they were going to be, so we accidentally shot them. How is that our fault? " The White House said they would also like prompt apologies from the Hurricane Katrina victims who were left stuck on their rooftops in New Orleans, the starving people in Sudan, U.S. soldiers who were killed because they didn't have body armor, and married gay people for loving each other wrongly. c BIGfib
