Guest guest Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 Connie, I have found that supplements like Omega 3 (1500mg daily), Taurine (1000 mg daily), Tyrosine (500mg daily), Gaba (300mg or more, it's a trial and error thing) and Lithium Orotate from the vitaminshoppe (www.vitaminshoppe.com) (64mg up to 120mg daily) are very helpful. I give all these to my adult child that suffers from depression and mood swings and they are very helpful. I also find that seeing a counselor once a week to help change behavior helps as well.
