Dear Friends,

Please review this important proposed Florida legislative bill

http://www.psychsearch.net/parental_consent.doc and if you are the

head of a group, please comment upon it and pass this on to all your

important contacts (on these types of matters) who are also heads of

groups.

If you will be so kind, respond in your comments, that you as head of

or by the authority of your group agree with the proposed bill and

that you would like to have your group named on the list being

compiled called The Coalition for Protection of Parental Rights.

There are over 10 million children in this country on dangerous, mind-

altering psychotropic drugs. Most were placed on these drugs without

their parents knowing the full information as to the dangers and

possible alternatives. The FDA issued warnings in 2004 that

antidepressants can cause suicidal behavior and later issued similar

warnings about ADHD stimulant drugs. The FDA is now looking at

issuing new warnings for ADHD drugs that they may cause heart failure

and sudden death. Diagnosis of these so-called disorders such as

ADHD is not based on objective scientific methods but on the

subjective opinion of self-appointed authorities with a vested

interest in increased drug sales. The " disorders " themselves were

invented by a vote of psychiatrists.

Parental informed consent regarding the dangers of life-threatening

drugs for children is virtually non-existent in the United States.

Parents have the right to know the consequences, risks and

alternative to the diagnostic methods and treatments, so they can

make an informed decision.

I invite you to help support legislation for parental rights of full

informed consent and join the Coalition for Protection of Parental

Rights along with the Results Project, Justice4Kids, Cornerstone

Christian Home Educators, Juvenile Justice Foundation, Citizens

Commission on Human Rights of Florida, National Coalition of

Organized Women, Florida Dads Incorporated, Justice for Juveniles,

Botanical Resouce, Citizens for Health and other like-minded groups

who support the education of children, parental rights and human

rights.

We need to get the message out about the rights of parents to be

fully informed so they can better protect their children's future.
