My response to medicos - 2.

Dear Dr _____,

 

I know you feel hurt by the comments of Dr ____. But he is not shouting at

you. He feels bad because since the last many decades he has been warning the

government about the disasterous consequences of many medical practices but the

government has preferred to remain a mute witness unable to act against the

Frankesteinian monsters it has created namely the ________ and the Big Pharma.

 

Just imagine yourself in his position. He knows that holistic treatment is the

right method and reductionism is primitive and barbaric. He knows the

consequences of reductionism. He knows that genocide is going on. He knows that

more is to come. He knows that the common man is totally ignorant of the

dangers. Now what can he do? Everywhere people agree to him but no one acts on

what he says because of financial and egoistic implications. Nobody wants to

admit the mistake or take the blame.

 

He is not alone. More than 6,90,000 qualified holistic healers and lakhs of

others who are associated with the holistic paradigm feel the same. They see

those people being honoured who are in fact destroying health, humanity and the

society as a consequence. The situation is a bit too much to bear and may result

in open rebellion very soon. We have already tasted a bit of that during the

Ramdev controversy.

 

I am a very well behaved and placid individual. I believe in karma and hence

do not grudge the extreme pain and suffering that has been my fate all my life.

But today I know my place in this world and my duty. I have met thousands of

people on the net who feel the same way and are trying their best to change the

situation.

 

Almost all the 1500 odd holistic health groups in the internet are headed by

people who have personal horror stories to tell. I know that their labour will

not go in vain because they have paid in blood for the cause.

 

Many of these people are unemployed due to illness and are running their

campaign from their meagre savings. Compare this to the rampant corruption in

the health sector and the flow of drug blood. Who do you think will win and

should win in the end?

 

We have taken a collective promise to corner modern medicine within the next

five years. We are supremely confident that by 2010 holistic methods will occupy

centrestage and the so called modern medicine will be used only in emergencies.

The way things are progressing right now we feel we may achieve our target even

sooner.

 

So please do not take things to heart. If you cannot tolerate some words of

frustration then just imagine how millions are tolerating the pain of death

under the " care " of your profession. You are very lucky that you have lived a

full life. Nowadays very few can enjoy such luxury.
