Guest guest
Hi- I don't think I've posted before although I do read your postings often. Just thought this was important information to pass along. I heard a woman on the radio (KPFK in Los Angeles) recently and then heard her speak at a local book store. Her name is Ann Fagen Ginger- she is an attorney who has the institute I've mentioned about. She has written a book called " Challenging U.S. Human Rights Violation Since 9/11 " . I puchased it but have not read it yet but she was so fabulous. She has a different approach to working on change in our government. One of the ideas is to use the UN for instance instead of our Congress ( calling senators, etc-). Her stance was that it not all that productive to call senators since they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing- they ( for the most part) are part of the system that needs change. If possible please get her book or call their institute - I think its in Oakland, CA (or nearby there). If further info is needed I will get more details. PS- Meanwhile I am still phoning congress as well. Sally
