Guest guest
Hello everyone, I just wanted to pass along some information about something that's helped me a great deal, and which might also help others. Please note that I have NO financial (or other) interest in this book - there's a good chance you can even find it for free in your local public library. I've had problems for YEARS with muscle spasms if I did certain things, didn't do certain things, and so on. No doctor since the late 1980s has ever been able to do more than give me a fill-at-will prescription for muscle relaxers (when they were at least trying to be helpful), or tell me it was " all in my head " (if they weren't even trying). I've also been having unexplained numbness at times in my arms, hands, and even at times jaw. Not even neurologist was able to help or explain this. I've also had what felt like TMJ in my jaw, but without any signs of actual joint problems (but the same pain, etc). The info that's done wonders for me is based on medical research by 2 MDs, not eastern or alternative medicine. However, as much as their 40+ years of data has been ignored by the medical establishment, it's still essentially alternative. Most doctors don't know this info, or if they do they choose to discount it. But this book has helped me not only get rid of most of the above 3 problems, but also to do it for myself -- which means no waiting and paying for doctor visits, massage appointments, physical therapy appointments, etc. If you are like me, you've already spent thousands of dollars trying to get some real relief. Enough is enough! Here's the book info, for those who'd like to see if it helps them with some or all of their issues, as well: " The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: your self-treatment guide for pain relief " by Clair Davies, NCTMB ISBN 1-57224-375-9 I got it for about $20 US, but again - check your local library first, to see if the book helps you. That's what I did, only buying my own copy after I could see it actually helped me. Note there are several other books out there with the same info (you can also get the original research books, if you have access to a medical library). The thing I liked about this one was: (1) Self-help - you can do everything he says with nothing more expensive than a tennis ball and your time, and (2) it's in " lay " language, so you don't have to have a medical or related degree to understand it. Good luck! Jent
