Christian Fundamentalists Suspected of Terrorist Bombings

The United States Government (USG), an organization partially funded and

supported by fundamentalist Christian groups, has emerged as the leading

suspect in a spate of bombings and attacks throughout the Middle East and

Southern Asia.

In the last four years, two Islamic nations - Iraq and Afghanistan - have

suffered a series of coordinated and devastating attacks that have killed

thousands. While the motive still remains unclear, political analysts claim

that the evidence pointing to the USG's role in planning and executing these

attacks is now incontrovertible.

" These attacks were carefully coordinated and designed to cause terrible

damage to the infrastructure and populations of Iraq and Afghanistan, "

stated Mark Sewell, a professor specializing in terrorism studies at Ontario

University.

" While that level of sophistication in itself does not implicate the USG, we

know of no other organization that funnels more than $400 billion into

high-tech weapons, explosives, and combatant training annually. "

The United States Government has a long and at times violent history.

Increasingly, it has turned its interests toward the Middle East and is

believed to have thousands of militants stationed throughout countries all

over the world, awaiting orders to carry out additional strikes in the

region.

In addition, the top members of the USG and many of their followers are

reputed to have close ties to Christian fundamentalist groups throughout the

country. Many of these groups, while often charitable and good intentioned,

have openly admitted to supporting attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.

" The evidence that we have managed to collect shows a substantial paper

trail leading from fundamentalist Christian groups to the USG, and from the

USG to these horrible terrorist acts overseas, " Wendy Giardina, a leading

expert on international crime rings at the Center for Investigative Studies,

told Brainsnap earlier this month.

" Organizations like these rely on members of the community having only a

partial awareness of their operation. Their dealings are deliberately so

numerous and complex that it's very difficult for any one person to

comprehend their true scope. "

The data collection process of Giardina and her colleagues involved tedious

perusal of non-celebrity newspaper articles and exposure to foreign media,

as well as avoidance of the occasional roving wiretap.

The USG is currently led by George Bush, a man who rose to power through a

dubious combination of the influence of his father, also a former USG

leader, and some shady deals in Florida carried out with the assistance of

his brother. A leader with a more traditional style, Bush surrounds himself

with a cadre of followers, including well-known figures Donald Rumsfeld and

Dick Cheney, who plan and coordinate his attacks and ensure the organization

continues to receive sufficient funding.
