I'm not talking to the Senators, I'm talking to you. Shut it down.

 

It's time to put you're money where you're mouth is, DU. You know

what Alito represents. You know that if George gets his other Crony

onto the bench, we can kiss any chance of holding the guilty

accountable. We'll have let slip any chance of reigning in the

influence of the Corporate Rich or the Evangelical Reich. We'll have

conceded the country to Fascism and resigned ourselves to servitude.

I believe that if we don't act, we'll be even more responsible for

the Death of our Democracy than the very Republican masses who

support Alito. Those ignorant f**s still have no clue; we do. If we

do nothing, knowing what we know, we're as bad as Bush three days

after Katrina.

 

So here's what we need to do. SHUT IT DOWN!!!

 

Prior to the contest of the Ohio Electoral Votes in the Senate, a

very peculiar thing happened. While we were frantically scrounging

around for some Senator to contest the election in the Senate, a

tsunami of calls flooded into Washington. Thousands upon thousands of

calls to Democratic Senators crying out, " Please stand up, PLEASE,

PLEASE!!! They STOLE it AGAIN!!! " Well, just a day or two before Jan.

6th, word leaked out that a Senator would stand up if only she had

enough people calling in to ask her too. Well that request sparked

off a fire-storm of calls to her office and with that show of

support, Barbara, my hero, stood up. While all this drama played out,

Washington was nearly shut down by the sheer volume of calls.

 

I've have come to know Sen. Boxer over the past year, not personally

of course but through the eyes of an adoring fan. I now know that she

would have stood up with or without our calls but it was our calls

that rattled the Democratic Leadership. They realized that if they

didn't let her stand up, they would lose the Heart of their Base. So

not only did they allow her to contest the election, they sent one of

their own to stand beside her. Some have probably forgotten that

Hillary also stood up on that day though a cursory glance at the

official record wouldn't reflect that. In the end, there was only 1

Senator who actually voted against accepting the fraudulent election.

That Senator was Barbara Boxer and she stood proud and strong on the

shoulders of millions of Americans.

 

So what I need from you, DU, is to SHUT IT DOWN once again. Everyone

out there who reads this and believes Alito is Bush's Final Solution

for the Political Genocide of the Democratic Party, then you need to

go to your phone and start calling. Call 10, 20, 50 Senators every

day and tell them " WE, THE PEOPLE vote NO on Alito and WE, THE PEOPLE

demand this nominee to be rejected " . I do not want a Filibuster, I

want 100 Senators to vote NO. That means calling Republican Scumbags,

too. If we fall short, then the Democratic Leadership must be made to

remember Jan 6th 2005. If the Leadership is too cowardly to act on

their own, then we DO have a solution. I know that at least ONE

Senator wants to Filibuster. Let that Senator stand on our shoulders

and the Leadership can fall in line behind him or her. All they need

say is that they buckled to the will of their party and they rallied

behind the passion of one of their own. Where would be the shame in

that?

 

So if you truly want to stop the wiretapping, the torture, the lying,

the thievery, the killing, the hate, the raping of America, then You

need to pledge here and now that you will do everything in your power

to get to a phone and call at least 10 Senators and ask them

respectfully to " vote No on Alito " . All I'm asking for is 10 but

DAMMIT you should call EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM every FRICKIN DAY!!!!

YOU CAN PUT A STOP TO THIS SHIT AND TRULY, ONLY YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
