Guest guest
atracyphd2 Tue, 24 Jan 2006 03:15:55 -0500 [drugawareness] Questions as Drugawareness expands internationally As the large majority of you are aware the International Coalition for Drug Awareness www.drugawareness.org has been around as the grandfather of all of the other sites on the SSRI antidepressants. Although America is the largest market for these deadly drugs, there is a strong push by the drug companies to get people hooked worldwide. Therefore we have a great desire to get this message to the entire world. In April of 1999 the Associated Press for Japan sent a reporter over to spend a week with me to gather information about these drugs because the first SSRI was about to be approved in that country. I gave him the news that week as it came in on the shooting at Columbine that had just taken place. How well I recall the look on his face as he learned that the antidepressant that Eric Harris was taking when he was the mastermind of the worst school shooting to date was Luvox, the same SSRI about to be approved in Japan. People have traveled halfway around the world to gather this information we offer on our site and in my book on the SSRIs, Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? - Our Serotonin Nightmare. It is critical to get this information out to the world because the entire world is engulfed in this Serotonin Nightmare. That being said I am asking all of you who are not from the USA to please reply to this e-mail with your home country included in front of the subject title and a brief description of who you are and what your experience with these drugs has been in your home area. One or two sentences is fine. We just want to get a feel of who is out there watching and trying to help with this. I would also like you to know that we have a new director out of the state of Florida. His name is Antonio Ortiz and he has been working hard to get this information to those in the state of Florida. His motivation comes from witnessing the tragic results of an adverse reaction to these drugs when he found his girlfriend, Leslie Demeniuk, several years ago passed out next two her twin 4 year old sons who lay dead next to her with gunshot wounds to their heads. She had a change in meds just two days before due to adverse reactions. We are excited to add Antonio to a growing group of ICFDA directors and know he will be a great asset in getting this information out to a state that desperately needs information due to their extremely high use of these drugs.
