Guest guest
Hi, I've been so many doctor's and no one has really been able to give me a definitive dx about this condition that affects my fingers and toes in cold, damp weather, though I've been told it could be Raynaud's syndrome. My fingers get swollen, itchy and cold. My toes as well. I can't seem to regulate the heat in my body, whereas a normal body would be able to warm itself, mine cannot. Some parts are actually ice cold. I am wondering if this could be a triple warmer imbalance or block. If anyone could ~please~ help. It's getting very difficult for me to walk as under my toes it has become quite painful. Conventional medicine can't offer me anything. I am so gratefult to have found this place. Best wishes, joy
Guest guest
Miserable condition, isn't it! As long ago as maybe 20+ years, I started having symptoms. Maybe even 30 - 40 years ago. Of course, I live in THE LAND OF ETERNAL WINTER, or so it seems. No one had ever heard of Raynauds back then. I started out with heavy sox and layered gloves. Then I thought about support hosiery, PLUS heavy sox...and keeping the torso plenty warm. In 1998 I was finally given a diagnosis, but no helpful treatment. At the time, I was heavy into doctor drugs, which weren't helping anything....but I was led to believe they were. It was about three years ago when I started to figure it out... I began a regimen of blood vessel support. I put lecithin in everything I cook (emulsify that fat right out of there)...and I cook *almost* everything I eat. What I mean by that is I don't buy prepared foods, I make it myself. You won't find boxes of mixes in my kitchen, nor boxes of much of anything. Nope...no cans either. Then I added niacin several times a day. And cayenne and ginger caps, and ginko with every meal. I take enormous amounts of vitamin C, and I remembered that RUTIN used to be called *the ANTI CAPILLARY FRAGILITY FACTOR* so I take it several times a day. I use a well rounded batch of vitamins and minerals daily. Minerals are at least as important as vitamins. Calcium is too prevalent in our diets...hyped by dox and the media. Zinc is virtually NON existent in the American diet and must be supplemented. You cannot heal without it. Magnesium is way under rated. You have to also support your heart, to keep the circulation going, or your feet will NEVER get warm. You can read about heart support anywhere on the net. My feet are not ONLY affected by Raynauds. I have a lot of other problems, many of them caused by having part of one foot removed by the damn dox, and of course 50 years in those beautiful monster high heels. DON'T WEAR THEM. I don't know if Raynauds ever completely goes away. But I'm able to be out in the sno (yes I know how to spell...but if I add the *w*, it;s 4 letter word) for much longer periods of time than last winter. Be careful. Be sure to keep your hands and feet as well covered as possible. And no matter what you decide to do to try to help yourself, don't expect immediate results. We didn't get this condition in a week, and it won't go away that fast either. Best wishes, joy I believe in compulsory cannibalism. If people were forced to eat what they killed, there would be no more wars. Abbie Hoffman Photos Got holiday prints?
