Guest guest
[from a work on Dry Heat under compilation © Tru Self Inc 2004] Whatever is Dry comes from Metal Metal to be Dry needs some Wetness With some Wetness Metal is Dy With less Wetness Metal is Heated With no Wetness Metal is Hot The yang of Metal is found at the Gate of Pores The yin of Metal is found at the Gate of Po Thus when the yang of Metal turns to yin, Dry Heat arrives And when the yin of the Metal turns to yang, Wet Heat arrives Hope this helps? Guest guest
I looked up something I wrote in the Journal of American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. It sort of builds on red capillaries in the white of the eye, sclera, with Heat of the Fire sort, and plays with the 5 E implications of that. The contact email and phone are outdated, they should read drholmes and 1.888.TRU.SELF 878 7353. Have fun with it: http://www.medicalacupuncture.org/aama_marf/journal/vol16_1/article3.html Steve Segal wrote: >Thanks. Guest guest
On Mon. the 2nd my father woke up to a rapid heart rate, not thinking anything of it he continued on his day hoping that it would go back to normal. Later that evening it was still the same and decided it was time to go to the hospital. Upon arriving they did the usual tests. His heart rate was 148 but his blood pressure was 118 over 82. The hospital decided to keep him for two days until they could figure out what was wrong with him. The hospital couldn't get his heart rate back to normal so he was sent home with some scripts. He was told that he has atrial fibrillation. I guess this is when certain chambers of you heart are not beating normally and causes an irregular heartbeat and may or may not cause the heart to pump less blood effectively and blood might pool in the heart. I heard also that this may cause blood clotting which in turn will cause a stroke. Anywho, the scripts they gave him are amiodarone, which is supposed to control the irregular heatbeat, but has done very little to help. Aspirin was aslo given to him to ward off any blood clotting. He has been home now for one day and nothing has changed. The hear rate is still quite high and he feels unstable on his feet and dizzy. He's going to see a specialist in a few days to see what they can find but I would like to see what others have to say about this. Are they any comments or suggestions? Thank you. Guest guest
I do not trust ANY scipts from docs unless I do my own research first. Heart beat is regulated by both Calcium and Magnesium. People who not supplement, are all too often deficient on one or both. Over-suplementation can also cause problems. I gues it is upo to you & your Dad to become world class experts in heart rate. I know I sure would not trust any info from a doctor who says they do not understand what's going on, but, here, take these drugs. Are they any comments or suggestions? http://www.msgtruth.org/atrial.htm MSG and Atrial Fibrillation -Taurine is the body's heartbeat regulator. Deficiency states can be induced by MSG because glutamate competes in the body with another amino acid - cysteine. The body uses cysteine to make taurine. A major complaint of MSG symptom complex sufferers is irregular, fast heartbeats, - atrial fibrillation. The same symptom also occurs from taurine deficiency. See the following link for an excellent summary of data about the amino acid taurine: http://www.serve.com/BatonRouge/taurine_chmr.htm It is also interesting to note that MSG is a well known to induce epileptic seizures, and taurine is found to be low in individuals with seizures.
