Happy New Year!

Let's hope 2006 brings light, hope, integrity and leadership that sets

new quality standards (meaning that the maggots in congress get voted

out, that the vermin in the White house and justice department get

impeached or abandon ship like the rats they are as the sweep of

justice closes in on them.

Two-Tiers Plan Continues To Strangle American Manufacturing Workers

In 2005, Big Media And Public Began To Wake Up

An ugly year was finally over. That realization struck with genuine

If George W. Bush Had Not Been An Un-American Un-President ...

.... he would not have been put in office by a rigged election. ... he

he would not have defied the laws of the land or dreamed of employing

the most powerful intelligence operations to spy on millions of

Can Somebody Tell Me What The Hell Just Happened? The Latest Iraq Vote

There has never been such tension in Baghdad since April 2004.

Something tells me that all hell is going to break loose very soon.

How can it be??? How could those Iranian mullahs win those votes? Even

higher than last january when his excellency grand Shitheadstani

himself ordered people to vote for them? It just doesn't add up. It

defies logic and reason. No way Iraqis are such brainwashed fools. How

could the mullahs get 58% of the votes in Baghdad? Last time, when the

Sunnis boycotted they got 60%, but millions of Sunnis voted this time

and hordes of Shia said they wouldn't vote for the mullahs this time

so how could they get the same result? What the fuck happened? What

about the truckloads of ballots that entered from Iran? Where did they

end up? How did they get hold of the ballots? Who the hell is running

the " Independent " Electoral Commission? Iraqis? Americans or Iranians?

" Is Wal-Mart Good For America " : " Frontline " Documentary Rebroadcast

Low wages, poor benefits, and worker abuse are the hallmarks of

Wal-Mart's business practices, and the retail giant is setting the

example for companies all across America. You can learn more about how

Wal-Mart's policies send American jobs overseas by watching the

rebroadcast of PBS's " Frontline " documentary, " Is Wal-Mart Good for

America? " on Tuesday, January 3. Click here to check local listings to

see when the one-hour special -- one of the highest-rated programs in

" Frontline " history -- will air in your community. In " Is Wal-Mart

Good for America? " , correspondent Hedrick Smith examines Wal-Mart as a

global force changing the balance of power in the business world and

leaving workers behind. You'll hear from an IBEW member who worked at

television manufacturer Thomson Industries and see Rubbermaid's

equipment auctioned off to Chinese buyers, illustrating how Wal-Mart's

strong-arm tactics on suppliers to lower prices have driven jobs from

once-solid American companies to low-wage operations overseas. You can

learn more about the program on Frontline's website. Don't miss it! --

John W. Dean: Bush As Nixon, Both Wiretapped Illegally And Impeachably

Bush's unauthorized surveillance, in particular, seems very likely to

be ineffective. According to experts with whom I have spoken, Bush's

approach is like hunting for the proverbial needle in the haystack. As

sophisticated as NSA's data mining equipment may be, it cannot, for

example, crack codes it does not recognize. So the terrorist

communicating in code may escape detection, even if data mining does

reach him.

10 Good Things About Another Bad Year

As we close this year, a year in which we were pummeled by the Iraq

war, attacks on our civil rights, and Mother Nature's fury of

hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis, there is no shortage of reasons

to feel bruised and beaten. But to start the New Year with a healthy

determination to keep on fighting, we need to reflect on the good

things that happened. And there are plenty.

Rough Year For Bush In Polls

Widespread discontent with the war in Iraq was the primary factor in

Mr. Bush's mostly lackluster ratings, but Americans also expressed

unhappiness with the president's response to Hurricane Katrina and

with his proposed overhaul of Social Security.

CIA Covert Action Plan Is Largest Since Cold War

The effort President Bush authorized shortly after Sept. 11, 2001, to

fight al Qaeda has grown into the largest CIA covert action program

since the height of the Cold War, expanding in size and ambition

despite a growing outcry at home and abroad over its clandestine

tactics, according to former and current intelligence officials and

congressional and administration sources. Numerous programs run by the

CIA and NSA engaged in rendition practics, communications wiretapping,

and computer surveillance.

Domestic Spying: Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid

The FBI, it seems, has been keeping an eye on any number of domestic

organizations that appear to have little to do with its stepped up

counterintelligence assignment -- shades of Cointelpro, " Commie "

hunting, black-bag jobs, and a variety of other notorious activities

from the '50s, '60s, and '70s that made the bureau the scourge of any

protester who might disagree with prevailing government policy in a

demonstrative fashion.
