Guest guest
Hello! You might try things that generally reduce inflammation and allergic reactions in the body. It may be that his system is so sensitized that he's developing new allergies - which means he could soon come up with even more, if he doesn't manage the root cause of all this. Check the internet for various things to try - but bear in mind that some of these may take awhile. For instance, my dairy allergy (casein, not lactose) eventually wore my system down so that I've ended up with tree nut, mold, and other allergies I didn't have when I started. When I avoid dairy and take things like glutamine and good gut-microbes, eventually it ALL settles down. But again, I have to be dairy free for at least 3 months before I'm " cured " . It may take him awhile to get results, as well. Good luck! And try a local " Pug Rescue " or a " no-kill " shelter (check the internet or with breeders) rather than the shelter, if it turns out you can't keep the little dog! If it actually works, it is an indication that diet needs to be looked at to figure out where the problem lies. But MSM may help with the symptoms while you figure out the real cause. http://www.bulkmsm.com/competition/research/msm/msm5.htm#allergies Alobar

You may try giving the pug Brewers yeast and garlic,Vit A & E; flax oil and other essential fatty acids.... as a lot of times the allergy is from the Dander, not the dog... and if the skin is in better healthier condition, it should help both dog and allergy. Also, you may want to use a dog dander homeopathic remedy; or try something like NAET, or NET for clearing allergies to pet. Guest guest
Hiya, Just wanted to mention the way I got rid of an allergy to my cat, also a rescue animal. My acupuncturist used NAET and removed the allergy. It works great. I also had food allergies removed this way. I was having a terrible time with itching after the cat came into the house. She tested me for allergic reaction to cat dander, I tested positive, then she used the NAET to remove it. The only caveat is that you have to avoid the allergen for 25 hours, which for me meant getting a motel room since the cat was already in the house and had his dander already there. Just a thought. Guest guest
What is a NAET and how long does the effect last and/or how frequently does he have to have it again? Thanks! Thanks! > > Kristin and Jaya > IBC for Mary Kay > www.marykay.com/kalthea Hi Kristin, Here's a website that explains the NAET. http://www.naet.com/ I only had to have one treatment for any allegy removal so far. It's been over six months for the cat dander and no itchy nose yet Prior to the treatment I wanted to scratch my face off. There may be cases where more than one treatment is required, but so far that hasn't been the case with me. May depend on the severity of the allergy. It's worth checking into. ~Kat
