Damp, heat conditions

Dear group

 

My name is Nada; I am a newbie I am translating a book on

alternative medicine and I came across " Heat conditions " and " Damp

conditions " . Of course I dont have an exact equivelent in my mother

tounge (Arabic) for them, so I will resort to explaining them with

footnotes. Would anybody kindly explain what they mean, or refere me to

relevent sites?
