Guest guest
M Sat, 10 Dec 2005 13:30:20 -0500 Letter to Joe Lieberman Senator Joseph I. Lieberman United States Senate 706 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, D.C. 20510-0703 DC Phone: 202-224-4041 DC Fax: 202-224-9750 To Senator Lieberman, December 10, 2005 It has been a long time since I have written a letter to any politician since many are useless. But, I did feel the need to write to you concerning your continued support of George W. Bush who many such as me see as a sociopath and a murderous one at that. I once faxed you a Connecticut voter re-registration form and checked off R for Republican since you seem to side with that party more than the Democratic Party. With your continued support of Bush, you have checked yourself out of the human race. This quote made by you proves it: " It is time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be commander in chief for three more critical years and that in matters of war we undermine presidential credibility at our nation's peril. " First of all it is not only Democrats, but people who abhor his actions and your actions into taking us into this godless war who do not trust Bush. In fact, many see him as the vilest inhabitant of the people's White House. There is an old saying: " With friends like this, who needs enemies " and I believe that the Democratic Party needs to start replacing war mongers such as you in our congress. I also believe that the moderate Republicans need to take back their party from these psychopathic neocons that took hold of that party. Bush not only needs to be undermined, what he needs to be is impeached and that will only happen with a Democratic controlled congress. Many like me do not see that help coming from you and frankly, we do not want your help. You have betrayed humanity in my opinion. Also many like me believe that Bush needs to be tried for crimes against humanity at The Hague. Bush has already imperiled this country by funding this illegal war. One only has to look at Katrina as a prime example. People are still homeless and where they are facing their own personal terrorism due to Bush's failure in handling that disaster. He even turned away aid offered these victims from countries such as Venezuela and Cuba. In doing so, that action in itself is treasonous. But did politicians such as you demand that these aid packages be accepted with thanks and grace? No, you did not. People are suffering in this country and politicians such as you turn a blind eye to all of them. You genuflect before Bush and you are the very ones that are putting this country in peril. This country is already in peril when people cannot heat their homes this winter due to increased oil prices. As you know President Hugo Chavez came to the aid of two communities so that their homes will be heated this winter. I spoke to some of these recipients at a news conference the other day in the Bronx where they collectively thanked President Hugo Chavez for this humanitarian gift. Where was Bush in helping the citizens of the Bronx and Boston? Where were you? I could go on chapter and verse on just how Bush has imperiled this country, but I want to touch on the credibility issue. What credibility does our country have when Bush lied about the facts that took us into this godless war? We lost the moral high ground when we invaded a country that had nothing to do with the attacks that befell us and where they did not have weapons of mass destruction. What credibility do we have when our " commander in chief " as you called him visits countries such as Argentina where riots break out because of his presence at the Americas Summit? Yet, you continue to genuflect before him. Lastly, in regards to this godless war, I am going to fax you pictures of dead and injured Iraqi children who were INNOCENT victims of George W. Bush as well as pictures of our INNOCENT soldiers whose faces were blown off. This is what you approve of, Senator Lieberman? If you do, then you are truly a godless man because no God that I know of would condone such actions.
