How to sprout broccoli: You can buy organic broccoli seeds at many

healthfood stores. To sprout them, you can use a jar placed on its side, or

any of a

number of sprouting devices, also sold at healthfood stores. Using good

quality water, soak the seeds overnight, then rinse and place in the sprouting

container. Keep seeds moist. Water a couple of times a day, draining off

excess water each time. Seeds take about a week to sprout. Eat as is, or put

on salad, etc.

Have fun!

Thanks, Deb!

So I bought a broccoli sprouting bottle, and a jar of seeds. And there they sit.

Will get to them soon.

Thank you soooo much for the info.

Right now I'm struggling with kefir jars all over the place, and have to

figure where the sprout jar will go. My kitchen is so cold, particularly these

winter nights. Now that I have my kefir gowing really well, I can leave it in

the kitchen, but I'm thinking the seeds may not do so well in thre. And there

are only so many places in the living room, that I can put a damp jar. Also, I

don't want to cook them, by placing them too close to the heater.

I believe in compulsory cannibalism. If people were forced to eat what they

killed, there would be no more wars.
