Guest guest
Hi Kelli, I am NOW doing a Yeast Cleanse...I am really not getting any better as far as pain goes...I may have some sort of reflux or maybe not absorbing nutirents well. Also, May have a thyroid problems. I am at a lost for words because the doctors can't find anything wrong w/ me and I know something is wrong. My husband wants me to consult a doctor for every move I make and I don't want to do that. I would like to have another endoscopy done to r/o silent reflux and possibly thyroid problems...there, that would only leave me w/ not absorbing my nutrients well....most of my food is staying down but some of it is still coming up. I am also getting the RUN around from most of the doctors...I have seen three gastro doctors, two ent's and changed pcp's once because of the run around...I am not WACKO and not a quack. it is just easier for them to say it is my anxiety and nervousness..and that is the reason why I am not getting any better. I was on allergra, ultra for pain, valium and effexor (anti-depressant's) and those were making me worse and increasing my bp!! I am trying to cut way back on sugar but there is only so much in the house that I can eat ...peanut better, rice milk, fruit, vegtables, brown rice, etc....all the other stuff is high in sugar and not good for me. all this is making me very tired...i also am not sleeping...but I am taking something (herbal) to help me sleep and it is getting a little bit better....anymore suggestions.....?? With the things you've got going on, and your desire to cleanse, you need to stay away from the things which are most toxic to your body. In terms of food (there may be environment issues as well, you should check) you should stay away from non-organic animal products, including all meat, eggs and dairy. If it's not certified organic, then you are pouring way more toxins into your body than it can deal with right now (or any time really). Stick with fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Always sprout your grains, rice, beans, etc. Info on doing this is in the files. Also, a good nutritional supplement is necessary - I highly recommend the Total Nutrition (info in the files). Again, the quality of the ingredients is extremely important. I am certain that doing the total body cleanse will handle most, if not all, of your body issues. The sooner you can do it, the better! Guest guest
Susan, Again, i would highly recommend the Total Body cleanse. You could resolve the majority of the health problems you mention below with the first cleanse. Many of us on this list have had some serious health issues and are now free of them as a result of the cleanse and a change in diet. Here is the ridiculous list of ailments i tolerated for too many years (and i might add that convention medicine did not help at ALL!) *Hypo Thyroid - 3+ years after diagnosis and with medication. *Allergies - more years than i care to count back - Zyrtec, claritin, alegra, you name it! *Acid relfux - dont remember the name of the product, but i stopped it shortly after starting it since it made me feel worse. *Migraines - almost every week, IMitrex, Midrin, Caffergot, etc.. I have had only 2 since January and only due to exceptionally HIGH stress. No asprin, tylenol, or any other prescription or OTC meds used to get through them. *IBS and rebound *Constant battle with yeast and bladder infections. *Insulin intolerant ALL of these issues are gone! I have not taken one prescription med or any other OTC med since January, INCLUDING my thyroid pill! I now feel better, look better, and my body is now at a point where it can more easily deal with stress including food realted when i am bad. I am now losing about a pound of month, when i was on a streak of gaining due to the thyroid. I not only want to encourage you to adopt and be faithful to this program, but get your Hubby to as well so that you two can grow old together...healthfully and with the quality of life that the god the creator intended! Guest guest
You're getting me all excited! (quiet, Guido!) My lungs are getting noticeably worse lately and I'm having some pretty good lower back pain going on since I ran out of Form #1. I'm so clogged it isn't even funny. I got my organic apple cider vinegar, black strap molasses, MSM, flax seed oil, and wormwood today. One more package and I'm off to the liquor store to buy a 5 gallon bucket of vodka (just joking) and I can start tincturing. I'm on my way! Guest guest
Hi Susan, I completely agree with the response that Sylvia sent to you on this. I understand that you have a lot of physical issues going on, but whether you go conventional medical route or alternative, just treating the symptoms is not going to be a final handling of the situation. You need to handle the CAUSE of all this, and it's TOXINS. You need to do a general, overall cleanse, and the one I recommend is the Total Body Cleanse. Cutting out the sugar is IMPERATIVE as well. It is NOT FOOD. If you are hungry, eat something your body can use. The sugar things will KILL YOU SLOWLY. (Read "Sugar Blues" by William Dufty. Excellent reading!) Are you getting any exercise? Work up a sweat for at least 30 minutes each day. If this is impossible physically for you, at least get a very good walk in before bed. Also, make lists - of things you have to do, of things that are on your mind, whatever. Just write them down so you don't have to have them in your head with you when you go to bed. Have some chamomile tea before bed to help in relaxing. (There were tons of other wonderful suggestions recently on help for sleeping - check the archives.) You can get through this Susan! Keep us all posted on your progress. There will be a day in the not too distant future when you will tell us all how wonderfully you're doing! :)Kelli susan leach [onechildwld1] Thursday, June 03, 2004 5:58 AMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - To Kelli Hi Kelli, I am NOW doing a Yeast Cleanse... Guest guest
Hello, well, my gi doctor put me on reglan which I KNOW isn't going to do anything except for constipation! I told him that I didn't think that it was going down right. I thought that it wasn't being absorbed correctly. I told him that I didn't feel like it was reflux...the gi doctor said my thyroid was fine. Then, my regular doctor doesn't want me to be on any supplements or any rx's...she wants to see how I do. i have imsomnia, some hot flashes, pms symptoms, fatigue and brain "FOG." I got the reglan BUT don't think that I am going to take it. I have tried twice on it and it didn't do anything but severely constipate me. the gi doctor says if that doesn't work then he is going to stretch my esophogus. Guest guest
Hi Susan, It sounds to me like the Reglan is being absorbed just fine! Just look at the side effects of this drug: More than 30% of the people taking metoclopramide have side effects. These include: Nausea. Diarrhea. Nervous system side effects, such as jumpiness, confusion, or sleeplessness. These occur in 20% to 40% of people who take the medication.1 Reglan is known to have interactions with other medications. Talk to your doctor about taking Reglan if you are also taking other medications. In some people metoclopramide may cause depression. In older adults, it can cause shaking or trembling (parkinsonian-like symptoms) and involuntary movements of the facial muscles and tongue (tardive dyskinesia). This sounds exactly like some of your more serious health complaints! Again, I urge you to do a total body cleanse. You haven't gotten any answers from the MDs so far, and that trend is not likely to change. Just kidding, of course. I am still astounded that people don’t figure out the purpose of drugs>side-effects>more drugs. Guest guest
Kelli, mine weren't filled w/ mercury...YEAH.... lOVE SUSAN thanks anyways for the info!!Kelli Bever <kelli wrote: Oh Susan, we may have hit on something here. Dental sealants contain xenoestrogens and are very toxic! Here is some info for you on this: An article in Newsweek described a high school girl who, with her science fair project, told how compounds called "xenoestrogens" were being absorbed by the foods placed in plastic containers or Saran wrap, and then taken up by the body when ingested, doing major damage. These act like free-radicals, zapping everything they touch, then go into the liver to reek havoc on the detoxification enzymes, then wander nonchalantly into the various tissues of the body to start over-feminizing them. Ever wonder why those 2nd-graders now look like someone in the Miss America pageant when we were kids? Xenoestrogens, demonstrated by a brilliant high school student, are responsible. They go on to accelerate breast cancer in those who have such a tendency, and create prostate problems for men.In the past, breast cancer was a disease of women in their 60’s or 70’s. Prostrate swelling and cancer have risen manifold in the past two decades. No connection? When I was young, one in fifty developed cancer in their lifetime, now it’s one in two. (NOT due to doctors getting smarter & finding cancer earlier). The bad news: xenoestrogens are not only in plastics, but in the hormones used by stockmen & farmers to fatten up animals for market—beef, chicken, turkey, pork. If you really think your health is unaffected by this, you’re wrong. These little chemicals also do a number on the immune system in general, setting up all kinds of cancers, and a number of autoimmune disorders ranging from fibromyalgias and chronic fatigue, common stomach and thyroid problems, multiple sclerosis, prostate enlargement, and too many others. So, what do we do? Boycott KFC? A letter writing campaign to Congress to shut down Saran Wrap? Save your ink, politicians can’t read anyway. They only know how to chatter & gather for themselves, with only rare exceptions. The first step is to remember that you are what you eat. Shop for foods around the periphery of your supermarket, getting fresh, raw produce. In most stores, the further in the store you go, the older and more processed the foods are. Take a better look next time you shop! Why don’t you grow your own tomatoes or perhaps other fruits/vegetables? There are a number of sources, easily findable by internet, such as organic ranchers producing beef and pork without all the harmful toxins, sources you can use to your healthy, longevity-producing benefit. So many people complain, "It costs more", but how much is your chemotherapy or heart by-pass or silk-lined coffin going to cost? Even a cheap coffin is $10,000.If your body is already suffering from the effects of these xenoestrogens, your liver needs to be detoxified to begin handling this and other poisons before its too late . When did you start having most of your physical problems? When did you get your sealants? Does it seem like there's a correlation here? Best, Kelli Friends. Fun.
