Guest guest
My 14 month old daughter is sick. She is very phlegmy. she actually gags when she coughs and her nose is running (clear). I think she probably has a fever, too. I can't tell you how high because the last child that was sick broke my thermometer and I haven't replaced it, yet. It feels to be about 101-102. This is her first real sickness and DH is freaking. He wants me to give her tylenol and is very angry with me that I won't. I gave her the homeopathic Ferrum Phosphoricum last night (all night) every four hours. This morning her cough was more loose so I gave her Hepar Sulph. C. What I would like to know is if she is too little for the garlic paste on the feet? or if it wouldn't be usful here? And if not what would be? I'm on a limited budget and due to DH's unbelief have not been able to make or purchase TT or hardly anything else. I always keep a lot of garlic around, though. Anything I can disguise as groceries. He is sometimes for all this. He is just scared for Miranda. It's frusterating because if he had questions he could look it up himself and he won't. He listened to about half the tape and had enough. Did anyone else go through this? Sorry, I'm very tired this morning. Lisa C.
Guest guest
My understanding from Doc is a person is never too young to use the garlic paste. It's safe for babies of all ages. Guest guest
Thanks. I put her down for her nap with it on. I used one part crushed garlic to three parts vaseline. Hope this helps her. That pnuemonia story is amazing. Thank goodness she's not that bad off. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, Also a hot bath with lots of fluids (ginger tea or even just distilled water) would help with your daughter's fever and cold. Keep us posted on her progress. You're doing the right thing in not getting her started on the Tylenol cycle! :)Kelli Lisa Carter [randasmommy2003] Thursday, June 03, 2004 5:27 AMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - garlic pasteMy 14 month old daughter is sick

Guest guest
Weelll The fever left The runny nose stayed:( She is still coughing a little, but it seems to have improved a bit because she isn't gagging and vomiting when she coughs. the paste was only on during her nap which was about one and a half hours. Should I put it on tonight too? Thanks, Lisa C. herbal remedies , <zeb@A...> wrote: > Lisa, > > Let us know how it turns out. > > Love, > Zeb > > - > Lisa Carter > herbal remedies > Thursday, June 03, 2004 12:51 PM > Re: Herbal Remedies - garlic paste > > > Thanks. Guest guest
Just remember that a baby's young skin is more tender and you don't need as much, or it could also be made a little weaker.
