Mary, Jamie and everyone else Regarding HR get-together

Mary and Jamie,

 

Well a few weeks have passed and it looks as though a couple of

people actually went to the HR Poll site and voted on a potential

state to meet in if we were all to got together.

 

If we were to really plan this, we'd have to narrow down the search,

and then start looking at specifics like when, which city, then

airfare, hotels, and maybe some activities.

 

Mary, is there a way to narrow the stream of cities that were

originally offered? Like eliminate all the states that had less than

4 votes? Also along side the prospective state, could we list one or

two brief reasons that state is good? Like Texas - Central to most

members; N or S Dakota - Wildcrafting, Wisconsin - ???? Cheese? hehehe

Also, once we see which states ultimately look best, we can see what

each state has to offer that would be of interest to all of us with

regards to HR (other states have good stuff to wildcraft? or an

organic farm?)

 

If you were to do that, would the current votes for the states that

remain stay or would everyone have to re-vote?

 

I thought this was a good idea, and i'm not one to abandone good

ideas...so is this something we'd like to keep going?

Your staying on top of the convention! We do need to decide how to handle this.

 

Also in Wilcoz, Arizona there are several organic farms to visit and pick your own or buy already picked...produce, fruits, meats, eggs, etc.

Yes Sylvia... Wilcox has a lot of large organic farms, Jeff comes up to Chandler, Az with a huge variety of delicious organics... Yummy!

 

I am still up for a convention if the travel can work out for me!
