Guest guest
Susan, In my opinion you need to start to nourish your body. It seems that you have cleansed and cleansed and cleansed and forgotten that you need to nourish the body and start to rebuild it. Starting with feeding your body total nutrition daily you will begin to nourish the system. To that I would add good quality proteins. I would make sure to avoid soy as soy will depress the thyroxin in your body and you already have a thyroid issue, besides most of the soy that you get is GMO. I know that a lot of people on this list are vegetarians, but in my opinion, I would be adding in good quality meat, poultry and fish (organic is best if you can do it.) Besides this I would be getting organic eggs in my diet and I really think that adding organic whole milk yogurt (goat yogurt is terrific too) which will start to put terrific probiotics in your system. I would definitely be doing total nutrition and total tonic right now to bring some balance into your body. Recipes are in the files or you can contact doc for sources. The other thing I would be doing to heal your gut would be to use a lot of slippery elm (either in tea form using the cut and sifted slippery elm or by getting the powder and adding it to things like yogurt or oatmeal. Plantain infusion (leaving the herb in boiling water for 4-8 hours) will help to heal the lining of the gut and red clover infusion will help balance the acid in your stomach. I don't know where you are located, but I would be wanting to get a lot of wild greens into your diet. Some chickweed, plantain leaves, dandelion leaves, violet leaves. Basically weeds they will be great for you either in your salads or lightly sauted. They have the best nutrition there is, just make sure that they are being picked from areas that have not been sprayed.
