Dear Friends-

I have been using an Ayurvedic toothpaste for several months now

and find it soothing, especially to the gums. It's called HERBAL-

VEDIC Herbal Toothpaste and has 26 herbal extracts. The

ingredients lists as follows: Calcium Carbonate (from chalk),

Water, Glycerin (from vegetable), Herbal extracts of: Triphala,

Acacia, Licorice, Catechu, Prickly Ash, Sappan Wood, Madder, Rose

Apple,Banyon Tree, Myrhh, Neem, Medlar, Jujube, Prickly Chaff

Flower, Symplocus racemosa, Embelia ribes, Bridelia prionitis,

Indian sarsaparilla, Saaraca indica, Pellitory, Cinnamon, Cloves,

Walnut, Nut gall, Wild celery, Sodium Laurel Sulfate (foaming agent

from coconut), Irish Moss, Spearmint oil, Peppermint oil, Methyl

Paraben, Propyl Paraben.

Most of the ingredients I recognize, some of them I still need to

research. But, they claim No animal ingredients, not tested on

animals, no artifical sweeteners or coloring, etc. Most health food

stores carry it, or you can search online for an online source.

Hope this helps.

Have a great Memorial Day.

Remember.....

Namaste,

Santih (Susan)
