I was wondering about the organic orange peels is it possible to tincture them for "longer shelf life"? If I'm eating them quite a bit as in the summer those peels can stack up more than I can use them.

some time ago i heard that the orange peel has an oil in it that is

hard or not digestable............ not sure if that is a problem,

but is it the white that has most vitamines or is it the peel

Yes, you could tincture them, but remember you'd be killing the enzymes by doing so.

If you're just interest in the biochemical nutrients, then go ahead.

Both the white and the peel have certain specific properties and they are different and both very good for you. Don't separate them.

Use the whole peel.

When we throw orange peels outside it takes them FOREVER to decompose. Peels

aren't easily digested and shouldnt' be eaten. That's what I read. The

vitamins are in the white part that people have been trained to throw away.

Hi Waymon, If the peels are being dehydrated and powdered, why would there be a problem storing them? Or are you looking at a different method...?
