You do drink the tea in the hot bath but you also put the ginger in the bath water! I like to use powdered ginger in the bath but you can also steep fresh ginger root as well.. This gets the sweat going awesome and the next day you feel so much better.. You can add others like cayenne as well if your very ill but the ginger in the bath water with the ginger tea to drink takes care of most problems. Try it and let me know... I use like 4 or 5 heaping tablespoons of ginger powder atleast but I can be a maniac in the tub...start out with 2 tablespoons and see how ya do, work your way up. Use the vaseline on your genitals if it's too hot for you! God Bless, JAmie in Az
Guest guest
Hi Jamie, I'm sure this is fantastic, but I'm still confused. Can you point me to the reference in the cleanse data pack or on-line information that mentions this? I have friends that will be starting on the cleanse soon and I want to point out the information for them so they're sure to do it correctly. Thanks! Guest guest
I haven't been following this thread but another thing to help clear toxins out in a cleanse (or any other time) is dry skin brushing. I have been doing this for three weeks and my skin is as soft as a baby's!! The links below should explain the process and theory....Also the hot/cold showers work wonders in helping move toxins along and giving your body a sense of rejuvination.... http://healingtools.tripod.com/skinbrush.html (quick overview) http://www.racingsmarter.com/skin_brushing.htm (detailed) I started the Lemonade diet (Master Cleanse) yesterday and I feel pretty good today almost like the energy level in my body is rising....I had my cousin do this cleanse because he was having a tough time sleeping and feeling all foggy headed and such....he is on day 9 and is now this cleanse's biggest fan....by day three his fogginess was gone.....he was my toughest sell, he works for Merck, but I just left the book around the house and he read it and is feeling much better....oh and he also lost 15 pounds in 8 days.... I have never seen that, but that doesn't mean that I didn't read it wrong! LOL! I've done the cleanse twice without putting ginger in the baths! Anyway, I'm sure that a ginger bath is fantastic!! Guest guest
Actually during my TBC, i would pour some of my tea and bits of ginger into my bath. I liked the way the ginger smelled and also, since i was detoxing, it gave ME a nice scent! Really fresh ginger actually has a sweet and sort of intoxicating smell. Older ginger or powder are diferent. Sylvia herbal remedies , " Kelli Bever " <kelli@c...> wrote: > Ah, I've never seen those videos. Guest guest
Addition: The hot bath at night is to take the place of the Cold Sheet Treatment. The Ginger tea is taken internally during the bath to help jack up the internal body temperature and create a false fever while protecting the body and the brain from becoming dehydrated and thusly damaged.
