HUMMUS

2 cups of sprouted garbanzo beans (chickpeas)

1/2 cup chopped, fresh parsley

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

3 cloves of garlic - chopped

1/4 cup sesame tahini

1/4 to 1/2 cup olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons Salt or Miso paste to taste

Place all ingredients except Olive oil in a food processor and pulse

until fine pasty meal. Turn processor on lowest setting and while

running slowly drizzle in Olive oil until creamy. Use rubber spatula

to scrape sides and help turn over peridodically.

Options:

Pesto Hummus

Increase garlic to 6 cloves and add 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil (dry

is ok, but use less). Add before adding Olive Oil!

Eggplant Hummus

add 1/2 cup of roasted eggplant before adding olive oil.

Roasted Pepper Hummus

Before adding Olive Oil, add about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup fresh roasted

Red bell pepper (or if adding hotter peppers add less!)

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

LOL Kelli! You are very welcome. It's nice to know that i can bring

a smile or two to some faces!

It's like i realized just during the cleanse...eating

natural/healthy, organic or even raw does not have to be boring or

difficult, you just have to be creative and adaptable!
