He is just in detox mode...this is good in my book!

He needs a good nights rest and I am sure you will see a big difference in the morning!

Make sure he blows his nose...some kids don't like to but it gets it out, LOL

Okay...so he has just showered...tried to hot and cold him a bit...but he was not really happy about that...cleaned off the gunk from the garlic salve on the bottom of his feet...lol...but now he has a sniffly nose...should I not worry too much on this? I know that the TT will help with this...but just want to make sure that the drainage from his nose doesn't start the whole process all over again.

Hi Caroline, I think the sniffly nose is a good sign. Your son's body is detoxing and handling the congestion. Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks again...I'll let you guys know how he feels when he gets up in the morning!

I have to second this! I was about to post the same. Last cold i

applied the shea butter too and it really helped keep my nose and

lips from getting all raw and cracked.

What finally dried my sinuses up (and i use every now and then on

windy allergy days) was Colloidal Silver Nasal Spray.

There is a formula by Source Naturals; it's part of their " Wellness "

Line. They also have some Wellness Capsules that work great.

I now have my family hooked on these. After the results of my last

cold, my sister started using them and my daughter.

I would recommend to keep doing what you're doing Caroline. I know that when I've gotten colds I also sound worse when I'm feeling better.

Sorry, hit send accidentally before I finished blabbing!

OK, so .... I would recommend continuing what you're doing. He'll need more sleep still, but I wouldn't stop him from doing what he feels he can do.

Should I do more garlic salve on his feet or ginger baths? Or just keep giving him the TT, Echinacea and Huff & Puff?

I think that another day of the garlic salve / ginger bath would be great for him, but definitely the TT, Echinacea and Huff & Puff.

Candice,

wouldn't it be great if all of our herbal remedies worked when we've only used them once. We'd be "miracle workers". Well aren't we :)

Anyway, I'd do them again today. It sounds as if the mucous is making its way out. Remember once it is loosened it needs to come out. It will come out through the nasal passages and through the bowel.

Like Kelli said it is how ya feel not always how you sound! So glad he feels better, tomorrow will be even better.
