Also, if I tincture it do I tincture each herb separately, or everything together? And, how much do I take? I apreciate any help anyone can give me on this. Thanks in advance. This formula works the fastest for PMS, Hot Flashes, and the Grumps. Female Energy - Helps with the Sex Drive while balancing hormones. Female Balance Formula. Balances the hormones only. It is the strongest of the formulae for doing this, but doesn't have any of the sedative effects so takes longer in this area. The best way to take any tincture (liquid herbal extract) is to put it directly in your mouth straight from the dropper or bottle. Once it is in your mouth swish it around for about 30 seconds getting it under your tongue as well. This ensures that the body absorbs all the properties of the herbs fast. The second best is to mix it with 1 ounce of distilled water and drink it. Third choice would be to add the tincture to 1/2 ounce of fruit juice and 1/2 ounce of distilled water and drink it. Our tincture formulas are all very strong. For this reason, they will be very effective if taken in any of the above ways. They will be the MOST EFFECTIVE and have MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS when taken the "best way" as described above. Sometimes a person is unable to tolerate the tincture formulas full strength and they need the gradient of taking them with a little bit of distilled water or fruit juice. You will still receive great benefits just not quite as much as you would taking the formula straight. This is not a matter of "not taking" or "taking" the tinctures. Take the tinctures upside down or backwards and they will help even if you dump them in a blender with your Total Nutrition green drink. Remember these tinctures have the herbs in them and they are very strong and very effective no mater what.
